Tour Overview

Begin your journey with a transfer to the historic city of Berat, where you can explore its UNESCO-listed old town and castle. Continue to Gjirokastër, wandering the cobbled streets and admiring the traditional stone houses of this “Stone City.” Experience the natural beauty and relaxation of Bënja Thermal Baths before reaching Përmet, followed by an exciting Vjosa River rafting adventure. Travel onward to St. Naum in North Macedonia and return to Pogradec, then explore the wilderness of Shebenik–Jabllanicë National Park. Conclude the trip with a transfer to Tirana for free time in the capital before departure.

Tour Plan

 Arrival at Tirana airport. ( in case of arrival until 18.00PM,  if the arrival is later, itnerary will add one more day)

Meet and greet by your tour guide. Transfer to Berat  and check in to the hotel.

Overnight in Berat.

  

Begin your day in Berat, the UNESCO “City of a Thousand Windows.”

Explore the historic Mangalem and Gorica quarters, stroll through cobbled streets lined with traditional Ottoman-era houses, and visit Berat Castle,  Onufri Museum where you can enjoy panoramic views of the city, the Osum River, and surrounding valleys.

Wine tastingin a cellar or agrifam in the best city of wine production and lunch at Ballkoni Gorices or similar.

In the afternoon, depart for Gjirokastër, known as the “Stone City.” Short walking city tour of Gjirokaster and free time.
Overnight in Gjirokaster.


  08.30-13.00pm Start your day in the UNESCO city of Gjirokastër, wandering through its atmospheric Old Town with stone-built houses, narrow cobbled streets, and traditional artisan shops.

The majestic Gjirokastër Castle, where panoramic views over the Drino Valley and centuries of history create a memorable introduction to southern Albania.
Enjoy your lunch  and transfer to Permet, known for its warm hospitality and untouched natural surroundings.

 After a brief stop in town, continue to the nearby Bënja Thermal Baths, one of Albania’s natural treasures.
Here you can soak in warm mineral-rich waters, cross the iconic stone Ottoman bridge, and admire the dramatic entrance to the Langarica Canyon.

Relax in the soothing pools, surrounded by rugged cliffs and peaceful nature, a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploration.
As the afternoon winds down, return to Përmet to end your tour feeling refreshed and immersed in the beauty of southern Albania.

Depart from Përmet and travel into the heart of Vjosa National Park, Europe’s last wild river ecosystem.
 As you follow the river’s winding path through green valleys and untouched landscapes, your guide will introduce you to the park’s unique biodiversity, traditional villages, and dramatic limestone formations that make this region one of Albania’s most pristine natural treasures.

Upon arrival at the rafting base, meet your certified river guides for a safety briefing and gear fitting.

Then set off on an unforgettable guided rafting tour along the Vjosa River, paddling through crystal-clear waters, playful rapids, and gentle stretches surrounded by towering canyon walls and lush riverbanks.
 Along the way, enjoy stops for swimming, photography, and moments of complete tranquility in one of Europe’s most unspoiled environments.

The experience combines adventure with immersion in pure nature, offering both excitement and serenity.

After the rafting journey, return to Përmet with a deeper appreciation of the Vjosa’s beauty and its importance as a protected national park.
Ovenight in Permet.

Depart from Përmet at 08:00, traveling north through beautiful mountain scenery and the valleys leading toward Lake Ohrid.
 Enjoy the changing landscapes as you approach Pogradec, one of Albania’s most charming lakeside towns.

Arrive in  Tushemisht at early noon and enjoy a relaxed lunch from 11:00 to 14:00 along the lakefront.
 This is the perfect moment to taste fresh Ohrid trout, local dishes, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere by the water.

After lunch, continue toward the border and cross into North Macedonia to visit the famous St. Naum Monastery, one of the most iconic sites on Lake Ohrid.
Spend 3 hours and 30 minutes exploring the monastery complex, its centuries-old frescoes, the peaceful courtyards, and the crystal-clear springs of Drin that emerge just below.
The area offers beautiful walking paths, lake views, peacocks roaming freely, and plenty of time for photos or a lakeside coffee.

In the evening, return to Pogradec for an overnight stay, where you can enjoy a calm lakeside stroll, dinner by the water, and the town’s relaxed ambiance.

Depart from Pogradec in the morning and travel toward the untouched wilderness of Shebenik–Jabllanicë National Park, one of Albania’s most pristine and biodiverse protected areas.
 The journey takes you through quiet mountain roads, small villages, and scenic forest landscapes as you enter a world of complete tranquility.

Upon arrival in the park, begin your guided exploration of its rich natural environment.

Discover dense beech and pine forests, crystal-clear glacial lakes, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking deep valleys and high alpine ridges.
 Depending on your preferences, enjoy an easy nature walk, a moderate hike, or a scenic photo tour through some of the park’s most beautiful areas.

Your guide will introduce you to the park’s unique flora and fauna, including rare species such as the Balkan lynx, as well as the cultural stories of the region’s traditional highland communities.
Along the way, you can stop for a picnic in nature, relax by mountain streams, and take in the fresh alpine air that makes this park one of Albania’s hidden gems.

In the afternoon, continue exploring forest paths and peaceful clearings before beginning the return journey.
Overnight in a village guesthouse.

08.30- 11.30AM DepartS from Shebenik–Jabllanicë National Park and travel west toward Tirana, Albania’s vibrant capital.
11-12.30PM On the way, stop at
TEG Shopping Center, Tirana’s largest retail and entertainment complex, where you can browse local and international brands, enjoy a coffee, or pick up souvenirs.

12.30-16.30pmLunch break and continue to the city center and enjoy a walking tour of 2hrs  visiting Skanderbeg Square, Et’hem Bey Mosque, Clock Tower, Palace of Culture, BUNKART 2 and the lively pedestrian streets.
Check in and free time.
20.00pm Dinner with Folklore show , warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Overnight in Tirana.
