TIES Internship Program
TIES offers internship opportunities year round. All TIES internships are for a minimum of 6 months, and are paid at project conclusion unless otherwise specified. All interns are responsible for their own travel and any other expenses associated with the internship. Most TIES internships focus on one or more of the following areas: media, education, research, marketing and communications, or membership.
Internship Requirements
All interns must be able to work independently and to take initiative; develop and implement creative ideas and solutions; and accommodate flexible work schedules. Very strong time management skills are required, especially for virtual internship positions. TIES expects individual interns to have the skills and capacity to add value to the organization without requiring handholding. TIES staff will not be able to consider internship positions that require extensive reporting or have specific project limitations.
